Please use this page to navigate frequently asked questions. This is here to help you access information without needing Lucina directly. Due to being a single person, it is easier to have information at your convenience and only ask further questions if the answer provided here is not satisfactory to the question you have. While I am happy to answer any and all questions, time is limited during workdays, and often the information is readily available on the website for your convenience!
Do you take walk ins?
Simply put: Generally, no. Why? Because there is usually one of two scenarios:
One: Lucina is already there, booked with an appointment. This time is not to be interrupted with the client.

Two: Lucina is not there, and utilizing free time to work on other work related manager tasks.

Same day appointments are definitely possible, but can sometimes be difficult depending on day and time of inquiry. If you check the booking system, and nothing shows as available for that day, chances are, I am either busy, closed, or with other clients. I prefer it this way to ensure the entire appointment time is uninterrupted.
Can I walk in for jewelry purchase?
No, an appointment is required for jewelry purchasing as well.
Due to needing time to fit your piece, I prefer to have 15-30 minutes to give you time to browse, ask questions, and have time for installing the selected piece. I do have remote access to inventory, but it may or may not be entirely accurate as to what items are currently in stock.
Can I get a piercing under 18 years old?
Yes, but ONLY with:

- One or both parents physically present. THIS CANNOT BE A SIBLING EVEN WITH PARENT PERMISSION.
- Documentation in hand, to prove relationship, such as a birth certificate, school ID, etc. in addition to the ID from the signing parent.*
- Proof of guardianship if the signing adult is NOT a biological parent with a matching last name.
*power of attorney is insufficient alone. Accompanying, notarized, legal documents of guardianship are required.

These procedures are never offered under 18:
Genitals, Nipples, Tongue, Surface Bars, Dermals, Lip piercings for persons with current braces, any piercing for anyone currently on or less than 6 months off of accutane.
Other procedures are offered at piercer's discretion. Anatomy consultations expected for: Navel, Industrial, Forward Helix, Rook, and a handful of other ear and facial piercings.
Can I get a piercing without a valid ID?
No, our insurance will not allow us to pierce anyone without a current and valid identification card of some kind.
Can I get a refund on a piercing I didn't like?
All sales are final.

Once you leave the studio, it is the client's duty to care for and check the integrity of the jewelry. Due to the nature of our work, once the piercing is done and the client's originally piercing appointment is finished, all refunds are null and void.

In some cases, exceptions will be made, but will be depending on the situation. If you are unhappy with your piercing, please bring it to our attention so we can see what we can do to remedy the situation for you!
